Frequently asked questions

Good decisions begin with clear answers.

These answers describe the institute’s current direction. Cohort-specific catalogs, enrollment agreements, schedules, and policies control when more detailed terms are issued.

Who is Journe Legacy Institute designed to serve?

The institute primarily serves appropriately licensed beauty and hair-care professionals seeking deeper, scope-conscious education in trichology, scalp wellness, holistic support, documentation, referral, advanced scalp services, and head-spa practice.

Is Certified Integrative Trichology Holistic Health Practitioner (CITHHP) an online program?

Yes. This program is planned as online professional study. The official cohort materials will explain the schedule, lesson access, assignments, assessments, instructor support, and technology requirements.

How long is Certified Integrative Trichology Holistic Health Practitioner (CITHHP)?

This program includes 15 modules and 104 lessons with approximately 128 planned learning hours, plus orientation. The core plan totals 127 hours 40 minutes, including the 15 instructor reviews; orientation is a separate estimated 1 hour. These are planned workload estimates, and students’ actual time will vary. Review the CITHHP 2027 Founding Pilot application and official materials for cohort dates and weekly expectations before committing to enrollment.

How does supplemental theory tutoring for Barber, Master Haircare Specialist, and Cosmetology students work?

These online tutoring services are only for students already enrolled in a state board-approved Barber, Master Haircare Specialist, or Cosmetology program. Tutoring breaks down theory concepts and reinforces the foundational knowledge taught in the student’s enrolled school or program. It is separate from Journe Legacy Institute’s certificate programs.

These tutoring services do not award clock hours, academic credit, or hours that count toward a state-approved program or professional licensure. They are not a standalone licensure program and do not replace enrollment, required instruction, or practical training in a student’s state board-approved program.

Is Certified Integrative Trichology Holistic Health Practitioner (CITHHP) currently accepting applications or payments?

Applications are open for the five-student CITHHP 2027 Founding Pilot. Apply for the CITHHP Pilot. An application is not acceptance, enrollment, or a seat reservation. Mrs. Dee must approve an applicant before a private payment link or enrollment instructions are provided. No payment is collected through the public application, and submission does not provide classroom access. This opening does not apply to other programs.

Is this medical training?

No. Journe Legacy Institute programs are nonmedical. They do not prepare students to diagnose disease, prescribe medical treatment, or perform services reserved for licensed healthcare professionals.

Will a certificate expand my professional scope of practice?

No. A certificate does not replace state licensure or authorize services outside the laws, regulations, and professional boundaries that apply to the graduate.

Do the programs award a degree or academic credit?

Unless official program materials expressly state otherwise, the programs are noncredit professional-enrichment or personal-development education. They do not award a college degree or academic credit.

What license or experience do I need?

Requirements vary by program. Professional and advanced-program applicants may need a current cosmetology, barbering, master hair-care, or other applicable license. Supplemental theory tutoring is only for students already enrolled in a state board-approved Barber, Master Haircare Specialist, or Cosmetology program. Advanced programs may also require Certified Integrative Trichology Holistic Health Practitioner (CITHHP) or approved equivalent preparation.

When will tuition and cohort dates be available?

Review the CITHHP 2027 Founding Pilot application and official enrollment materials for tuition, fees, payment schedules, refund terms, and cohort dates before committing. Ask Admissions for clarification before accepting enrollment terms; payment instructions are private and require Mrs. Dee’s approval.

How do I request admissions information?

Select Join the Interest List to submit a program inquiry through Google Forms. You will see an on-screen confirmation; no automatic email receipt or information packet is sent. For direct general inquiries, email info@journelegacyinstitute.com. A general inquiry is not a pilot application or enrollment. Do not include sensitive documents or client information.

Where will students take their classes?

Enrolled students use the private Systeme.io classroom. The website’s Student Portal provides one doorway to the classroom, instructor help, LMS support, and student resources. Lessons, assessments, submissions, and student records are not hosted on the public website.

How are the website, classroom, and Journe Practice different?

The public website is the Institute’s front door. Systeme.io is the private classroom for enrolled students. Journe Practice is a separate sign-in-protected professional workspace planned for eligible graduates. The three share one brand while keeping education, student records, and professional client work appropriately separated.

What is Journe Practice?

Journe Practice is a secure professional-practice platform being developed for qualified graduates. Planned features include documentation, consultation and consent tools, imaging records, protocols, recommendations, referrals, and credential monitoring.

Can graduates use Journe Practice now?

Not yet. It remains an owner-private pilot using fictional sample information. Graduate access and real client data will remain unavailable until privacy, legal, security, retention, backup, and incident-response safeguards are completed.

How can I request an accommodation?

Applicants and enrolled students may contact the institute privately to request reasonable access support. The applicable process and supporting-information requirements will be provided in current admissions and student materials.

How do I submit a concern or complaint?

Email info@journelegacyinstitute.com and identify the program or issue involved. Enrolled students should also follow the complaint and appeal procedure in their current policy handbook.
